I think that Pitino lost the game when he put Prey in at the end and Omier got a basket and was fouled. Multiple mistakes by staff in the closing minutes…. Zuby getting the ball unreal

We can talk about the end of game miscues forever. But

Up 6 4 mins left.

Zuby defensive rebound. Loses it.
Foul against us.
First FT make. Second miss.
Offensive rebound.

Turnover on the inbound.
Basket.

Went from up 6 to tied all because of a fumbled rebound. That's why we were in Double OT to begin with
 
We took a final four team to double OT and they had to hit two prayers to beat us. This loss hurts a lot up 5 with 14 seconds left though we had it would have been a real nice W for the resume. Still you see the talent this is going to be an enjoyable successful season!

3 offensive rebounds, team leading 4 turnovers, 6-12 from the line. An all around poor 2nd half + overtimes.
 
Why on earth was Zuby in the game at that point in the game???
You were going to get fouled and you put in foul shooters!
Pitino with a senior moment!
We handed that POS Drew a win.
Hope they can regroup but this was a crap second half that sometimes carries into the next game!
Other than scoring the points to get us to overtime, Kadary was NOT money player and played like Swiss cheese. Too many holes in his game to date.

Just watched it and wow you're right. Luis tapped it pretty high up there and the clock didn't start until Omier caught it basically
 
Gut wrenching loss. I won't sleep tonight. But.

About a year ago we got embarrassed by a Michigan team at MSG that went 8-24. Today we took a team that is in the discussion to win the national title to double overtime and lost on a prayer 3 by VJ and a last second contested 3.

Need more production from our bench and need these guys to live at the FT line during practice. But we can't say this isn't an overwhelming talented team.

Have to pick up the pieces tomorrow and win the next two. Just so sickening this one was so close. We lost this game but Baylor didn't beat us.
 
The game was ours for the taking but , blowing 5 point lead in double OT is bad , very bad .
I hope Pitino takes the blame for bad decision making having Zuby in the game at all with 6.5 seconds left .


That ‘s Coaching Principles 101 . You can’t be a contender for anything if you don’t hit clutch free throws. Refs were awful but , hey what do you expect, it’s not NY .
It’s a Bush League tourney anyway . Towels to wipe the slippery floor were as big as hand towels . Baylor got every call down the stretch but , we still had game in hand until , we didn’t .
 
We deserved to lose. Better now than in BE play. We are horrendous free throw shooters
 
Dunlap or Lefty has to be in the game. I don’t care how cold they are. On top of the FT shooting, Zuby has suspect hands and no ability to dribble or pass out of danger.

Brutal loss. Gut wrenching. We needed that more than any program in the country.
