Back to the Drawing Board.......

If Nebraska loses NIT game at TCU tonight, from all accounts it appears Fred Hoiberg will be named head coach shortly after. Subsequently the Matt to Nebraska rumor should hopefully either be confirmed or put to rest. Then there should be more clarity regarding any impact on the roster and current recruiting.

Does Mullin get ahead of it and meet with Matt before the Nebraska move? I would think he would want to know if Matt's departure is possible and start to formulate a plan in case he does leave. After all, we have no one on staff that understands the intricacies of recruiting and we would need to find an experienced recruiter immediately.

One would think, since rumor was on internet all week. Staff & HC meetings are this week, so we’ll see.

Thinking Matt and Fred talked and told Fred that he's hired at Nebraska that he's 100% with him.
Must get tiring to handle all the recruiting.

My guess is if Hoiberg gets job, he’ll leave.

Totally delusional.
Good luck to him.

He would not even be picked as the guy who mops the sweat off the floor!

But he’ll finish his degree ;)

I dreamed of playing in the NBA as well, so with that said...
I'm here on redmen.com to announce my decision to declare for the NBA draft as well.

And the Knicks with the 1st pick in the NBA draft take Sedee Keits of St. John's University....

As noted, some kids are not cut out for college and high maintenance kids sap staff.

We are St. John's, so you know when all is said and done we'll go into next year with one big on the roster!

Unfortunately, he seemed to have brought some of his same issues that plagued him at South Carolina. Nevertheless, I wish him the best of luck!

Gawd, that puts us in an awful spot to state the stupidly obvious.
But it also illustrates how inept the policy to not have another recruiter on board for the past 3 years, and how irresponsible it has been for the HC and his top assistant—both HOFs—to not be that keen on recruiting.
No planning.
Hope the AD is on top of this.
