Attention is low, Sat and Sun makes that worse, and everybody who may comment has left for the weekend.
If you have good news, you release at the start or middle of the week, especially on a slow sports day.

Seems like less information leaks out under CMA. Although we all thirst for daily updates, there's nothing wrong with a staff that keeps their head down and focuses on the job at hand. So far, the surprise news dumps have all been positive and indicative of a sound strategic direction.

And that is exactly my experience with the new staff so far. Keeping everything private. To me that is good. They are diligently working and not talking.

It may be a tad frustrating to a hungry and impatient fan base, but it's one more example that CMA is a professional and accomplished manager and runs a tight ship.

And I'll be happy if it stays that way (relatively) without a self-promoting assistant who cares only about him publicly getting credit for something constantly filling the ear of a local scribe in exchange for a never-ending stream of promotion and positive press.
