Assistant Coaches Arrested /Book Richardson is One

My guess is that the FBI Special Agent John Vourderis, and/ or the US Magistrate Hon. James Cott are active supporters of Redmen.com who undertook the investigation into "payoff recruiting" to even the recruiting process to the schools that follow the rules.

Paul, can you confirm whether Hon. James Cott posts on Redmen.com under the name "Monte", and whether Special Agent John Vourderis posts under the name "Ohio Fan" ? Thanks.

I can neither confirm nor deny but I think OhioFan quit the FBI in protest of Trump.

if we are clean somehow i think this will benefit us. Good clean program. And we all thought these guys just wanted to leave NY....and it was the $$$ the whole time. Have you seen Matts's Mets seats? Too far from field level to be on take  :woohoo:

Alright, there was a post here that was deleted, now I'm freaked out. Is It Redmen.com under FBI surveillance? Are our registration fees being used to pay off Jack Wolfinger?

Yeah it was mine. I have no idea why though.

It was regarding Ponds. He posted something about giving up on Saturday on Instagram. He later deleted his account. Most likely it's nothing, but seems unusual because these kids spend all day, every day on IG. Even more concerning that the aforementioned post was deleted.

I'm shocked but so glad that only 5 schools appear to be involved in this type of nefarious undertaking. Imagine the damage to the game if there were more.

You really think they are the only 5. Come on. They were the ones that got caught because some mutual fund guy that was facing Fed pressure himself gave them up to save his own hide.

This is just the tip of the iceberg in this sleazy industry.

No flies on you Bill, nor the General.

Guess I should have prefaced my post with "Sarcasm Alert!".

The only question right now is are these guys getting in trouble for taking SOP too far, is this going to be selective prosecution based on how much resources the FBI wants to throw at this, or is the entire system going to come crumbling down.

The blind NCAA enforcement Committee will attempt to spin and minimize these arrrests.

UArizona and Louisville will likely receive a letter warnings.

What should occur are 2 year SMU style death penalties.

The NCAA will drag this out for years saying they can't subpoena anyone therefore they are waiting for the FBI to finish prosecution. By that time most if not all offenders will be elsewhere and penalties will be muted by the fact participants have moved on. Just watch.

On the bright side all of the 2018 committs to Louisville, Arizona, Auburn, Southern California and Oklahoma State just became available.

Paultz, or other who follow recruiting closely, does St.John's or any Big East team have a realistic chance of becoming involved with any of the 2018 committs from the aforementioned schools ?

Thanks.

A Pittsburgh money manager named Louis Martin Blazer was an undercover informant and cooperator throughout a long-running investigation of bribery and corruption in U.S. college basketball, according to two people familiar with the case.

Blazer, identified throughout the court papers as CW-1, settled a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission civil enforcement lawsuit last year. He was accused of taking $2.4 million from investment clients through his firm which catered to professional athletes.

Blazer has also pleaded guilty to securities fraud for investing money into music and movie ventures on behalf of five athlete clients, without their authorization.

Blazer was at several meetings in which business and financial advisers sought to arrange bribes to coaches to secure the eventual services of their student-athletes.

You're not wrong, but I think the NCAA is the least of their worries
