Assistant Coaches Arrested /Book Richardson is One

With a new AD on horizon at Auburn, "Barbecue Bruce" will be working for ESPN again soon.

Per Mark Schlabach

Auburn men’s basketball coach Bruce Pearl is refusing to cooperate in the school’s internal investigation into his program, and university officials have advised him that his job is in jeopardy if he doesn’t, sources told ESPN on Wednesday.
Or he could be the V in convicts in the prison basketball league fan section

"Two Auburn men's basketball staff members were put on administrative leave Monday as a result of the university's investigation into its program, according to school officials, and the fate of head coach Bruce Pearl, who sources have said refuses to cooperate, is still uncertain. The school has not yet released any further information about why video coordinator and former Auburn player Frankie Sullivan and special assistant Jordan VerHulst were put on leave."

As this story unfolds count on efforts throughout the country to land kids from programs in trouble. Matt must be licking his chops lol.

Per Zagoria: Chuck Person and Rashan Michel will be arraigned at 10:30 AM here in NYC. The defendants are charged with wire fraud, bribery, travel act, and conspiracy offenses.

A lot of coaches are probably getting ready to pounce on Auburn kids once this investigation hits them hard.

Kansas beat Kentucky last night despite holding out their top incoming freshmen. Billy Preston was in a car accident and the school held him out while they review where he got the car...I'm sure it was all above board...

Per Zagoria
Book Richardson, Tony Bland, Lamont Evans, Christian Dawkins and Merl Code all pleaded not guilty this AM at their arraignments.

Next court date: Nov. 30.

Brian Bowen will not play at Louisville, per a release from the school. Can remain on scholarship, but can't participate in any team activities.

Can still have access to the Mercedes, enjoy prostitutes & own a race horse. :)

Breach of contract is worse than 9-11.

Southern California fired associate head coach Tony Bland in connection with FBI probe.

Sources tell ESPN as many as 3 dozen Division I basketball programs could face NCAA penalties once evidence of FBI probe is public. "It's not the mid-major programs who were trying to buy players to get to the top. It's the teams that are already there."
