Paultz those two are similar because they're big bodied guys who pursue the ball but play below the rim. IMO that's not a bad thing, shot blockers are good but you need guys who play position defense and get rebounds also. To me Kante has the advantage because of motor and shooting touch, but I think both players, Brodie especially will benefit from college weight rooms and trainers. 270 (and it may be more than that) is way too heavy for Brodie. Kante is more ready to play now because of motor and conditioning and a better fit for St. John's because he can play forward and compliment the mobile running centers that St. John's has (Owens) and is trying to recruit (Brown, Reid and Igiehon) And yeah I know I make too much of free throw shooting for bigs but Isaac shoots those betterHe gave Seton Hall a verbal at xmas.
