"Big time pickup"? From what I could find, he's a two-star recruit.

Creighton has probably won a lot of games over the past decade with 2-star recruits. Plus, who is the person rating him 2 stars? How often did they see him play?

Creighton has probably won a lot of games over the past decade with 2-star recruits. Plus, who is the person rating him 2 stars? How often did they see him play?

I'm pretty optimistic about Big East recruiting but in this case I'm not seeing him on any ranking lists

Maybe he had a good AAU season, he picked up late offers from UTEP, Tulsa and Kansas State.

According to the Creighton board he is a long 6'4") very bouncy guard with a good mid-range game. His outside shooting is still developing. Coaches certainly saw something in him.

Much happier with Ponds than a kid that sounds like a bit of s resch/diamond in the rough.

He was a top 100 player (#88, per the RSCI) coming out of HS in 2013. Originally, a Louisville commit, but he may have fell out of a favor with "Iceberg Slim" Pitino. It takes away an interior presence for the Hoyas. It may not hurt 'em, but time will tell.

Big East came out like gangbusters last year and proved experts wrong with the RPI. Butler was picked down and started greatly beating NC. Interesting to see if Johnnies and the rest of the conference can go for an encore.

Just saw Scout has him as a Top 50 so besides the good lineage that also a well ranked pickup for the BE.
