Carrington is everything Phil Greene should've been. I didn't like his game at all at BL but he just knows how to play.

He's gonna be a stud by his Jr. year.

Player development seems to have gotten to him :)

Can't argue with the first point. One thing I'm very impressed by with SH's freshman is their aggressiveness and tenacity. They come off as fearless with no hesitation in their game. Fun to watch.

I know it's not fun to have started the BE schedule 0-3 and we're going to have to have some of these big games go our way, but our 4 losses have all been to VERY good teams. Villanova and Gonzaga are 5 and 6 in RPI, Seton Hall is 19 and Butler is 28.

Butler gets another quality win last night. They have some nice wins over ranked teams.
Now, Lets take care of our business tonight. We NEED this game tonight fellas. Keys to tonight...
#1- D'Angelo needs to stay hot
# 2- Stay OUT of foul trouble
# 3- A focused Jordan who drives to the hoop
# 4- Crash the boards, need OFFENSIVE rebounds
# 5- Keep intensity up on defense
# 6- Good passing, no chucking up shots
easy enough? lol
LETS GO JOHNNIES !!!!!!!!

Losing two at home already, no matter opposition, makes it crucial to win on the road, a hard task on its own. Funny before BE play commenced, some posters were worried about other teams pulling the league down. Goes to show it is best to be concerned about your own results. If we go 0-5 isn't it fair to say we are not "very good" and boxing ourselves in a corner once again. Or will we beat to death all the reasons we lost & talk about things being easier going forward. There is nothing easy in the BE. Win the next two & then we can say we are back on a positive track.

Dead on. It's time to put up or shut up.

Hope they put up a W.

Once Thomas and ADR failed to qualify AFTER being enrolled I knew we were going to be one other player away from being an average team at best. That player has been Rysheed Jordan. Phil Green is just not a quality Big East starter and Branch is not a scoring threat. Lavin's big mistake was not recruiting over players like those two as other big time programs would have done. Carrington would have made a big difference on this team.

i hate killing current players but I couldnt agree more about Phil Green. 39% from the field and 32% from three and he does that terrible motion with his hand like he is shooting a gun on the rare occasion that he knocks a shot down. Stop acting like an amateur and play the game. You arent Steph Curry, get down the court and play defense instead of making a spectacle of yourself. Everytime he touches the ball i get anxiety....hes the only player on the team i say that about. Its painful watching him.

Phil contributes at times, but agree with you Avon. He is becoming very proficient at taking ill advised shots at the worst moments. Rhythm breaker too often.

I get it you guys don't like PGiv I know another guy who doesn't like him, Jim Boeheim, he mentioned it after the Syracuse game. Doesn't like how he killed them down the stretch.

Phil was good in the nova game I thought, hope he can keep it up. With that being said he showed a notable drop off in quality post Syracuse game. I don't wanna kill the guy because I like him a lot but one game does not mean he's had a stellar year. He dropped off after that and I hope he continues to play like he did against nova he was solid.
