When U Conn performs like this I sometimes wonder whether Hurley's incessant histrionics with the refs contribute to a permission structure that is counterproductive for his team. After all if the reason you're losing is the refs, then it isn't your play and there isn't anything you can do about it.

Counterpoint is Pitino, who is almost invisible when it comes to working the refs. If he's aggrieved - which is pretty infrequent - he says what he has to say and moves on, no drama.

Why doesn’t the NCAA implement a replay assist system. It works for the NFL. Not perfectly but that shot clock question would have taken a second and not stop play.
