Sam Gilbert would have made certain Wooden never had a roster like that to begin with.John Wooden would not get anything from that roster.
No fair, he recruited what he could get to seton hall. The playing field is anything but close to being fair and Holloway got the real short end of the stick. He got more from his St. Peter’s kids in a different era, NIL was not remotely what it is today.True but he recruited it. I know they have NIL issues but damn. He got more from his St Peter’s kids. This game is not close.
Zero, zip, nada
I think he's a good young HC, but some of the views on him were wildly inflated based on the SPU Elite 8 run. That was remarkable, but his overall tenure wasn't as good as some who dominate leagues like that when they are there. He was eh year 1 at the Hall, did well last year, but this year is an abject disaster NIL or not. NIL isn't the reason you lose as much as they have this year, including low majors.Agree on Sha, he would be dangerous at a place like Nova.
That being said, I take Sha over Neptune in a landslide.I think he's a good young HC, but some of the views on him were wildly inflated based on the SPU Elite 8 run. We should now all be able to appreciate how having a guy like Kadary can clean up some mistakes/give a team a couple extra wins they're probably not getting.I think he's a good young HC, but some of the views on him were wildly inflated based on the SPU Elite 8 run. He’s got $2.4m annual reasons to stick it out at Seton Hall. I just wonder if NIL is such a big issue at the Hall he might be better off finding a big money school with a so so team. In another post I mentioned like Calipari at Arkansas. Seton Hall is (as far as I know) isn’t going to solve its NIL issue anytime soon. If he’s as good as you think he’s killing his career at the Hall. This is a nasty business now. Another year like this, fair or not, he becomes a gamble. No fair, he recruited what he could get to seton hall. The playing field is anything but close to being fair and Holloway got the real short end of the stick. He got more from his St. Peter’s kids in a different era, NIL was not remotely what it is today.
If Coach Pitino would not be around following this season I would take Holloway in a split second. Watch what he too could do with a few million in NIL.
The last 3 words of that are right, it’s inexcusable to lose to Monmouth and Fordham at home. But aside from that, there’s really no way to be anything but terrible in the NIL situation they are currently in.NIL isn't the reason you lose as much as they have this year, including low majors.
Hes a fantastic ball player. If he comes out, I could see pat riley gobbling him up w/ pick 18 and him being a star for the heat.
If he stays another year, hes a top 5 pick.
Neptune is 4-1 vs Sha with several wins by double digits. That being said, I take Sha over Neptune in a landslide.
I would still take Sha over Neptune. We can revisit if and when Neptune ever makes the big dance.Neptune is 4-1 vs Sha with several wins by double digits.
Neptune had his chance at a ‘fluke’ run at Fordham.I like Sha and I think he is a good coach but they have some terrible losses this year that have vvery little to do with NIL.
He gets a lot of mileage out of a fluky run in the NCAA's that probably never happens if Iona was not upset in the 1st round of that MAAC Tourney.
That's fine but you are giving a lot of slack to a guy who has made the NCAA;s exactly one time from a one bid league that he failed to even win the regulatr season in.I would still take Sha over Neptune. We can revisit if and when Neptune ever makes the big dance.
He was there for 1 year. And he put together a 1 year turnaround that was tremendous that led to a following season of 20 wins and 12 league wins which at Fordham was remarkable.Neptune had his chance at a ‘fluke’ run at Fordham.
