Hes got great size for a guard and such a sweet stroke.

Hurley failed Solo Ball. Ball would be averaging 18-20 ppg if they had a suitable replacement for Cam Spencer.

He had back to back possessions of letting a guy bully his way into the lane, and then let someone rebound him for an offensive board. Great shooter and scares me, but I wonder what the +/- is on his guy’s scoring/rebounding/etc

Funny thing about this game is we’ve seen STJ play almost exactly like this in first halves. Good to watch to know other teams are also capable of going 0/7 from 3pt, and to see how much UConn can make you pay.

Call me crazy but I feel good about our matchups against both teams.

Hurley vs Shaka is just unfair. Hurley can coach circles around him.

Its always been about Feb and March for this Uconn team. When you have won 2 straight titles, the urgency just isnt there early in year 3.

But they are coming around now and when they get mcneely back, watch out!!!!
