Around the Big East

That was 100% a shooting foul that should have sent Diarra to the line with a chance to tie.

Big result to get this to be a 4 bid league. Need games like that to happen this year for us like they happened constantly for the MWC last year
Send Ackerman a note Mug, she is at a “branding” convention today, probably cattle related

He’s been pretty sloppy with the ball especially on passes to Kaulkbrenner

I wouldn’t want to short sell Ashworth . He’s a very valuable Player in Creighton ‘s offense . And , best free throw shooter in Country .
He’s really a shooting guard thrown into the PG slot this year . He makes up for his turnovers in other ways .
Any team would be glad to have him .

Again, big T Reed on UConn barely plays, but still out rebounds Johnson w another anemic 3. Hurley must have issues w Reed from practice or defending, but your big man has to rebound better than Johnson to date.

Huge win for Creighton and the Big East. You've got to think beating Kansas at home and Uconn on the road should make their resume rock solid, absent any crazy hiccups.
As I said in the other thread, if the Big East is once again a 3-bid league, then whether we make the Tourney or not will depend on what Creighton does. Their win today just ups the stakes.

Hurley: “There’s a hunger that you have to have when you take the court, this wild desire that you have to have where you will not be denied. That’s not who we’ve been, we haven’t been that.” #UConn

Creighton doesn't foul. Impossible that he got fouled <--- sarcasm

One thing I've learned is the refs refuse to blow the whistle against Creighton.

It triggers me, lol.

Also not sure if we make the Top 25 this upcoming week. Mizzou (assuming they beat Ark) and Creighton both should be in there.
Several teams just above us lost already, so a second win this week should be plenty to move us up from 26th. And Creighton didn’t get votes this past week, while Mizzou only received 8. I don’t see either one getting in yet, but we’ll see.
