Around the Big East

English's prior stop, George Mason, actually has a better NET (83) right now than Providence (88). Definitely plenty to work on internally there rather than passively commenting on our flaws.
I like Kim English, and that was definitely an ill advised comment. Easy to forget he's so young for a head coach, 36, so hopefully that becomes a learning experience for him. He also caught another bad break with Hopkins being out this year.

Looking at Marquette's near loss to DePaul last night, they were pounded on the boards again, -15 on the evening.

I really do think they have a weakness there that we can exploit. I am starting to get really pumped for that first matchup with them at MSG. I am sensing a big Zuby game
The NCAA will rule that Theo John has eligibility left and he will show up to play against us.

Butler hangs on to beat Hall by 5. Hall hit a flurry of 3s to close to 74-72 with 2:05 left but couldn’t get over the hump. Don’t know what any of this means for Saturday.
