I guess the reported demise of Villanova (and their Head Coach) was greatly exaggerated or at very least, premature.
Agree. Looks like to Big East is deeper than thought.

Conn is still a national championship contender and Nova is an NCAA tournament team imo. We’ll see if they can stack enough wins to overcome the bad losses they had the first 6 weeks of the season
I thought it was originally too but after watching the replay, I am not so sure and Karaban appeared to use his arm to push off.
It was an obvious foul but UCONN had a foul to give and the guy fouled him prior to shot but ref gave Nova a 3 point opportunity.
He definitely did that before the shot but the block was with too much contact low.
According to many, Neptune is a shitty coach, what happened? Not directed at you.
I saw the replay and you’re right it was on the floor.
Still doesn’t excuse the antics on the sidelines. Making your point is one thing but screaming like a raging lunatic should have been a technical foul. Danny being Danny is no excuse.

Oh you can direct it at me, I think he stinks. It's hard to win on the road in the Big East and Hurley lost the guy he built his whole season around after he realized didn't have the talent he had last year. And it's the first game of that new edition.
Great spot for Nova to grab a win and they did. Neptune has a LOT of work to do before he convinces me he can actually do the job at the level Nova expects

Jay wright wasnt great his 1st few years at Nova. Looks like Neptune is finding his groove and may turn out to be a good one.
