Around the Big East

providence can't hold a lead. sound familiar?

Well , the Zebras aren’t going to give the Friars even 1 call and it’s showed during the Friar collapse .
English ought to be more concerned with his own team and how they only play 1 on 1 basketball with no cohesive passing or designed plays .

You have to really beat the Huskies decisively at Storrs to even stand a chance to win.
You aren’t going to get any favorable whistles up there ever . My

What a year the kid is having... took whatever he learned from testing the waters and is implementing to perfection...

Not that i was expecting this Dixon-level of Production from Kadary... but something in the same vein "I'm a 5th year returning BE 1st teamer- lemme make an All-American team" production

Steve Lappas doing GT game reminds me foul matched “dim dat & dees” desperate betters at Yonkers Raceway throwing F bombs at drivers at finish line while betting their kids’ tuition. 😇

Marquette is very good and can full it up in a hurry, but I actually kind of like how we match up with them.

They aren’t particularly big. Gold is their center and he plays essentially like a stretch 5. There are definitely a lot of offensive rebounds to be had against these guys. Gtown out rebounding them by 9 right now

Agree. I continue to believe one team that we are not a great matchup with is a healthy UCONN.

Frightening part is the Announcers praising the Hoyas as a team that defends great in the paint. Teams need to hit 3s to beat G’Town. Uh, oh. I know a team that must score in the paint to even have a chance. Just saying.

Our kids, who sometimes get way too casual with the ball, will be tested because Marquette absolutely gets after you when that ball goes on the floor. Being strong and sound with the ball is at a premium when you face them.
