There's a handful of fans on here who gets a release of dopamine with wins and losses, as they get to equally cheer (wins) and bitch (losses). Regardless, what occurs, they're still gonna feel good.

UConn only lost this game because their coach is a complete jackass and got a technical in overtime which created a four point swing. If he doesn’t get that T they win.
Their season is not over because they’re ranked #2 right now and have earned a lot of leeway with how they have performed in recent years. Worst comes to worst they drop to #4. We have earned absolutely nothing! So, when we lose a big OOC game it’s way more damaging. Not even on the same level.

X is very good. Important game here for them not because a loss to a mediocre SC team would be bad but it also matches them up with tournament team Michigan tomorrow instead of Virginia Tech who might be the worst P5 team in the country this year

Yeah, but hurley was more than his usual psycho self during the whole game. He built up a body of work and that last outburst was the cherry on top of the sundae as far as refs were concerned. It's amazing that he gets away with stuff that 99% of other coaches would be Teed up for. It's like a petulant little kid gets away with stuff all the time while his polite brother gets into trouble for one problem.

Reading Section 9’s post, I was reminded of a part of an hour+ interview of Pee Wee Kirkland available on YouTube. For those who don’t know the name, a VERY legit NY playground legend who also made boatloads of money on the streets.
He eventually did time on what was later pretty much to be shown as trumped up charges, part of a case in Boston involving multiple defendants, all or most of whom were not “street people”.
Anyway, and the interview was years after the fact, Kirkland had done his time and subsequently had done a lot of really good work with youngsters.
Anyway in the interview he shares that he was set up but (paraphrasing) “I was guilty of a lot” so he accepted what happened, did his time, changed his life. Absolutely fascinating, interesting, intelligent man.
