Hope that happens. Great coach and a straight shooter.
I'm with you - would be very unhappy to see him leave the Big East. Love the way his teams play, if I was not stuck being a St John's fan that would be my team. Though I wouldn't move to Omaha for them. Or anyplace within ~500 miles of Omaha.

Well, his four losing seasons at Iowa St. prior to getting the Creighton job was evidence towards that, but he disproved it.

That guy is an excellent coach. An upgrade over Dana Altman, and I certainly didn’t think that was the case when he was hired to replace him.
I’m shocked ! Omaha has a Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom exhibit Hall that Marlon Perkins presided over on video .
You could also get closer to Warren Buffett to garner Investment Advice .
Lastly , you could get hometown discounts on Omaha Steaks and pick them up at the warehouse . They are better than pretty good .
Interesting. After postgame festivities at Stouts on Sunday, I ran into a father and his sons who were Creighton fans who flew in for a long weekend and the game. The father was very worried that McDermott would be leaving after this season. This should make him happy. FWIW, the guy also loves Pitino (“He’s a winner!”)
We will remain must see TV with Pitino, slow laterally or not.
Definitely need Marquette to beat Providence tonight. Probably need Creighton to beat The Hall as well.
