I don’t buy the Chicago market argument for this sorry program. That would be like the Big 12 adding the Fashion Institute of Technology for the NYC market.

At our lowest, we’ve never even been within 1/10th as sorry as DePaul has been. They averaged 668 fans a freaking game. It’s pathetic and it hurts our brand.

Let them build up and come back if/when they get there.

Also got me thinking about BE players in the NBA right now. No team has over 4 except Nova which has 10. Pretty funny that folks always say Wright didn't get the top top kids but got them to play in a system. LOL

Also got me thinking about BE players in the NBA right now. No team has over 4 except Nova which has 10. Pretty funny that folks always say Wright didn't get the top top kids but got them to play in a system. LOL

The 10 ties them for eight place with Arkansas and Arizona and only 1 player off of fifth place (tie among Michigan, Gonzaga and Texas).

Wright didn’t get too many McD AA’s, Top 50 or one and doners out of high school. What he did was get winners who were teachable, coachable and believed in a team concept and proved
you could not only win that way, but also send guys to the NBA.

All that shows what a great judge in talent, teacher and coach he was.

Say what you want about PC, had Hopkins not gone down, they certainly could have finished far up the standings in the Big East. Kim English has done a great job with this team as a first year coach.
