Around the Big East

Holloway doesn't seem like the type of coach that would let a kid sit on the bench if that was the reason he wasn't playing
Yes, but like all coaches he wants to win. And Richmond is not only their best player but they rely principally on 5 guys because of a lack of depth. Before last night, they've been the most fortunate team in the league on the injury-front, if he was out because of an injury. So while Sha is an old school guy from a different era, Richmond also kind of has him behind the barrel with this IMO.

One of my Hall friends texted me tonight that the "undisclosed reason" has something to do with NIL. At least that's the rumor circulating. Concern the kid is going to "pull a Lovett", if you will.
entertaining this... my understanding was that Lovett didn't want to potentially re-injure himself, and hurt his Pro aspirations... which sucked for the team, but I can atleast understand his concern...

Sitting out due to "NIL".... was a check late hitting is account? lol... echoing similar responses... I don't think ANY coach would let a kid sit on the Bench if that was the reason he wasn't playing....

ehh... if your job missed your payment on the 15th... and not resolved quickly... would you keep going to work on the 20th? .... interesting times we are in....

Big Monday. This is from the 1987-'88 season. I would at least watch some of a Big Monday game if we weren't playing. I actually saw this play occur live.
I did too. I remember it clearly, I was at the Ground Round in Northport having all you can eat wings for $7.95! It wasn't a menu item and was only available one day a week. They would continually make them hotter and hotter to try to get us to leave. As teenagers we could put down a lot of wings 🤣
