Providence and Villanova are the only unbeatens left in the league. Both of Providence's games were home, as is their next one (I think), so they'll have to pay the piper down the road.Creighton is overrated, I hope we can split with them at worst. Only UConn and maybe Marquette look like unbeatable teams
I see them as five Chris Ledlums, seem a tad short in physical gifts for a top 20 teamWell coached, offensively proficient Creighton has a lot of good pieces, but imo athletic, aggressive defenders rattle their new PG easily and effects their rhythm and his composure.
In hindsight, may have been risky depending on a guy who had one decent season at Southern Utah.Rothstein on Creighton’s big weakness so far;
“Creighton’s PG Steven Ashworth is just 7-31 from the field and 5-26 from three-point range in his last five games”
DePaul had a good practice though
SarcasmThey probably did.
However, since they're only facing themselves in practice, their is no way that can prepare them for Big East play, since it's a totally different talent level.
I knew that, but there's a reason coaches of bad teams usually say that. It has a bit of truth to it, but just a bit.Sarcasm
There is an article on ESPN ranking the Power 6 conferences. (it's behind a paywall so I can't share the content). But I think most importantly is that the narrative of the P6 continues which includes the Big East, as opposed to the Power 5 without out. It was not always certain that the Big East would remain among the power conferences. But the success of the league over the past decade and major news outlets including it with the best of leagues only adds to its relevance.
I think it includes non conference games. Georgetown plays more paid cupcakes home than VillanovaSomething doest seem right about these records. Georgetown played 26 home games but Villanova 19? Also when he says 22-23, those he mean last season or the last two seasons. Either way Georgetown couldn't have played 26 games yet.
