Around the Big East

Booth actually was significant contributor on both Nova championship teams but his best year was year after 2nd championship when he averaged 19 ppg
you're right. i was unclear, referring to that championship game where he had a huge game against UNC

Villanova is an impossible team to handicap because they shoot 3 many threes and give up so many threes. Every one of their games basically comes down to shooting variance. It's how they won in Atlantis but lost to Penn and Drexel. Creighton went 4-25 from 3 last night.

How the heck did seton hall dominate uconn?
The same way they beat them last year in Newark. That place is Hurley’s kryptonite. Uconn was awful it seemed. Clinghan got hurt. And the Hall kids made some of their one on one plays. Richmond in particular absolutely murdered UConn for some reason.

As a senior, Booth averaged 18.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. He finished his career as the ninth player in Villanova history with 1,500 points and 300 assists, and he played in a school-record 148 games.

Prov all over butler early. Posh is so limited as a player. Jenkins is such a major upgrade over him.
But with 3:39 to go, it's at 60-60. As for Posh, 6 points (2 for 8), 1 assist, 10 rebounds. (Think most of us, myself included, are too obsessed with Posh's stats.)

Update: Friars in OT, 85-75.

Excellent game between Providence and Butler.

Anyone else think the Conference schedules starting earlier and earlier each year. I mean everyone is in Game 2 and it’s not even Christmas yet. Less games in Feb/March. I guess.
