Around the Big East

They're actually not done with their non-conference, quite yet. They play Chicago State (who is one of the worst teams in all of division 1) on the same day we play Hofstra. They could use more Chicago State's on their schedule.

After Seton Hall plays Missouri on Sunday, those are the only 2 non-conference games remaining for Big East schools.

What a weekend for the big east! 6-1 (assuming SHU holds on) including big away wins at ND and at Mizzou (you can't tell me that that's a neutral site) by the bottom half of our league. Plus the much maligned (by both our fan base and the Hall's base) Dylan Addae-Wusu had a tremendous game all around. Most impressively he was guarding a pf the majority of the game and he did very well against him.

Reminds me of the 20 point game (4 made 3’s) Wusu had against Florida State last year.

Good win by SHU on the road. We're going to have to guard the 3 point line, and stuff the ball into Soriano all game when we play them.

The Hall has shot awful for most of the season, almost lost to Monmouth at home the other night, and has gotten their doors blown off by every other high-major they played (aside from Baylor, the other 2 aren't exactly good teams at this stage). Their defense tonight against Mizzou made ours thus far look like Tony Bennett's best teams at Virginia. However, it seems Wusu, Dawes and Davis all got hot at the same time tonight, and the 2 former finally had a game where they made shots after being so atrocious in others.
