Around the Big East

For those posters who were predicting the demise of Nova. They just beat UCLA without their arguably best player, Justin Moore. I will be very happy with just splitting the series with Nova this season.
I am one of them and still not sold. I am not that bad I just don't think they are a top 20 team and that we finish ahead of them in BE.

Last I looked, Posh no longer plays for St. John’s, He plays for Butler. He was given the opportunity to stay and EARN playing time, he chose to leave and not accept the challenge. He was not forced or driven out. I choose to root for those who stayed and have joined the team to compete, not those who chose to run away from the challenge.

If you choose to root for Posh, that’s your prerogative, but don’t make such statements as “we are all rooting for you” cause we all are not.
Go Johnnies.
That's your spin.

I think that Posh, Wuhu,Storrs, King and all but a couple of players felt CRP was coming
and he wanted to mold a fresh team conducive to his way of playing.
CRP of course was right and so was Posh so he looked for a team
that was more suitable to and accepting of him.
Maybe money also was involved, but to say Posh did not want to
accept the challenge, is beyond the pale.
That is definitely not the character of the Posh that gave
it all for us.

What's your point, Johnny Rapper? Villanova also lost to Penn, St. Joe's, and Drexel with the services of Moore.

This is what we know so far about Villanova: They're wildly inconsistent at this juncture of the season.
We have three loses. They have three losses to lesser teams. I know there are those here who look at other school fan boards, so are they in full meltdown?

Nova and creighton both big outliers here. They shoot a LOT of 3s. Opponents not shooting many against SJU, but if you allow uncontested drives all day, I guess 3s aren't needed

Creighton in a tussle with 3-4 UNLV, down 9 at the under 16 mark of the 2nd half. Creighton missing 3's.

Pete Gillen is a horrible sidekick announcing this game.

UNLV up 16 at the under 8 minute mark. I must say, a lot of UNLV shots have rolled around the rim all night and dropped in, but you need that for upsets.

Creighton just missing a ton of shots.

Jumped on Unlv money line during first half.
