Wow that's surprising, but helps put into perspective how strong attendance was for our Michigan game given that was also on a Monday night (which I see people using as an excuse for this Empire Classic). Plus, this was four teams- one from the Big East, Big Ten, ACC, and Big 12 (soon SEC). I'm optimistic we can make MSG a true home this year.
I do wonder how many UConn grads are in the city, because I feel like I bump into people wearing UConn gear quite frequently. Feels like there are a decent amount and of course they travel well by Metro North. By contrast I rarely ever see anyone wearing St Johns gear here in Manhattan.

Well, the City hasn’t been this dangerous, polluted, and smelly since the late 1980’s, so to answer your question: a lot of them.I do wonder how many UConn grads are in the city, because I feel like I bump into people wearing UConn gear quite frequently. Pace didn't count in the standings as it was an exhibition. GTown's losing to AU does.they lost to AU last year, we haven't been world beaters either, despite our win today. Each team rebuilding will go through their ups and downs, despite their fan's expectations. Remember Pace!
Now up 15. How many 5 star players does Self need? Dickensian a non factor.Marquette has No. 1 Kansas on the ropes right now. Their defense is relentless. Up 10 at the half against the Jayhawks...
Marquette , dominant over #1 Kansas , could be new #1 with a win over #2 Purdue. I think they are a better team after watching both tonight . Igodara and Koke dominant!Great performance by Marquette. So quick all over the court. Going to be a battle with UConn for the league title.
Requiem for the Big East looks dumber and dumber every year.
Very true. Marquette and Shaka are a perfect match. He can recruit those players that are Big East caliber but still have a chip on their shoulder. In many cases when a coach gets gently pushed out of one high major job so he can take another job that is not perceived to be on the same level it won't always end up well for a coach.
But at least right now Shaka Smart landing in Milwaukee after leaving Austin looks like a tremendous move by him. He is flourishing at Marquette.
