I may be too old school but I think PG Tyler Kolek of Marquette deserves consideration for POY in BE. He seems prime reason M’Q is a solid team this year and he makes everyone on team better. He is antithesis of Curbelo on many levels.

Looking at conference-wide statistics, it is interesting to note that Posh and Curbelo are in the top 10 assist leaders, and a good case can be made for Joel to be BE POY. I bet Joel finishes at least in the top 5; should at least be in the top 3 in voting, based on being conference leader in rebounds, and currently fifth in scoring.
