Around the Big East

UConn is going to end up being a Q4 win by the end of the season 😂 . Losing like crazy lately.

Gave up a 15 point lead to lose by 1 point to Seton Hall. They are getting exposed in conference play.

Didn't someone comment in here that they might go undefeated in conference and were national championship contenders?

Total meltdown by UConn. Turnover city of the unforced variety. Lack of a point guard is killing them.

Tough conference. Xavier and Marquette the class of the league this year imho. We can and must finish ahead of UCONN and Hall to dance.

Hall should be projected in the field after this win. It would have been better for us if UConn won, you always want your best win to keep winning. But, that now presents a good opportunity against Seton Hall at home to get a win against another team projected in the field.

And BE looking like a 6-7 bid league after people were saying at one point it was a 3 bid league. You got 4 locks in Marq, Providence, Xavier, & UConn. Creighton, Seton Hall, and St. John's will all be in the mix. Butler could also enter the mix if they put together a winning streak.

The real question has to be, prior to tonight, UConn lost 4 of its last 5 games, how the hell are the still ranked in the top 20?

PS, the job that Holloway is doing at the Hall should mot be overlooked. While offensively challenged with limited talent, his team plays tenacious defense.

Holloway had the line of the night, during a first half FS1 in the huddle. “Why are we freestyling?”
Hero ball will not be tolerated in South Orange.

I asked that question myself. But, even after this loss their NET is still going to be in the top 10. Early in the season their metrics were just insane, they were beating teams with Q1 rankings by double figures. So, they've given themselves some margin of error. Even if they finish .500 in conference they'll easily make the tournament.
