Around the Big East 19/20

Kid can go left or right on the block with serious skill.
With Carey out of the game he is posting up everyone on Duke and they can't stop him.
Will be fun watching him and the other N.C. State transfer go at it later this year. G’town still coming together, but there’s a lot of talent on that team, They could be really good as the season rolls on,

The Hoyas still often turn over the ball. It could haunt 'em throughout the season.

Agreed on the Hoya TOs, Dink. Could be a problem if their guards don’t learn to value the ball.

Watching Xavier take it to UConn, and enjoying that. Ugly game, but seems like X likes it that way. This is what a dog fight looks like. Welcome back to the BE...biaches.

This is an ugly old school BE game

Marshall with bad shot to end first OT and fouls out to start second OT

Uconn has opening

It looks like both teams are trying to lose. Neither one has been successful, yet.

While true, i also cannot stand Xavier. We have gotten into scuffles with them at least once a year since they joined and they always seem to have players you love to hate. Macura. That guy Reynolds who had JaKarr locked in a cage when they'd match up. Blueitt omg I hated Blueitt. That year we were really bad, Mullin's first year, we almost upset them at CA but Blueitt flopped and got a call if I remember. Then proceeded to talk trash the rest of the game. Did I mention Macura? I just hate Xavier.

Saturday. November 23rd:

12 noon - Florida A&M at Seton Hall (98.2%) - FS2
12 noon - DePaul (33.1%) at Boston College - I can't find any New York TV listings for this one. Game is on ESPN3, but only for ACC Network carriers/subscribers
2:00 PM - Robert Morris at Marquette (95.8%) - FS2
4:00 PM - Penn at Providence (83.1%) - FS2

Lol. I guess it’s all personal preference Jack. I don’t hate Xavier at all. They remind me of the old BE...they would have fit in perfectly with their style of play. I like when the BE teams smack each other around and there’s no love lost between them on the court. The fire and intensity makes for better battles. It’s why Ewing looked like he was going to destroy someone on the sideline last night. He grew up in that beast of a league.

Agreed. McCLung is out of control. He costs them about 5 possessions last night.

Depaul is doing it again on the road, up 11 on BC, midway through the second half. They're looking more and more like a legit threat, with each passing game.

The more I watch these Big East teams, the more I wonder where the conference victories are going to come from.

Just surfing around ESPN3 watching DePaul/BC and Blue Demons still lead by 6. I don’t think I watched a BC game since they left Big East. They look like they are going to lose this game and I think ND lays the football wood to them at 2:30. Not sure that ACC thing worked too well for them in either sport.

4 NCAA appearances ironically in their first 5 years in the ACC. Last being 2009.

And what about all their other sports, who have to do all that travel? I'm sure that alone eats up most of the budget, for those teams. Can't be fun.

Talk about out of control Pickett had a terrible game. Didn't understand why Mosely was out in the second half, certainly Allen his replacement bombed out also.
What bugs the hell out of me is how fast coach K goes after the refs, whines all game every game.Unfortunately it works!

Providence is going to need an ASU-like second half performance. Penn leads them 46-30, with a minute to play in the first half.
