I can´t see the web page because I live in Europe.

The depth of @MarquetteMBB in the frontcourt is what really sticks out to me ahead of this season. Sam Hauser, Ed Morrow, Joey Hauser, Brendan Bailey, Matt Heldt, Theo John, Ike Eke -- it's a good problem to have for Steve Wojciechowski

With many @BIGEASTMBB teams focusing in on the defensive end of the floor in the preseason, it's important to remember that @StJohnsBBall has that covered. The Red Storm led the league in field goal percentage defense (42%) last year. Their athleticism gave teams problems. #SJUBB

.@NovaMBB, @PCFriarsmbb, @MarquetteMBB add rich talent. @StJohnsBBall has high ceiling. @SetonHallMBB, @XavierMBB @ButlerMBB @BluejayMBB all have potential to reload. @GeorgetownHoops could be dark horse of league. @DePaulHoops led by Cain/Strus. Down year? What down yr? #BIGEAST

Here is third installment in Marquette publication's top 50 BE players. Mikey Dixon comes in at #22. Couple of very interesting points here - it is clear that the rating is being done w/o MH as first two of SJU's best 5 were Figueroa and Dixon with Simon, Clark & Ponds all to follow as top 20 guys. Also, SJU is only team besides NOVA with just two players appearing in positions 21-50 and that is w/o Heron. Dixon got very high rating, although article does point out he is unproven against high major competition. If MH were included, we'd possibly have had 4 guys listed in top 20.

Having seen him a number of times, I found his ranking a bit high, but time will tell in a much more difficult level of play. Quinerly, one spot above him, is really good and a natural PG. Imo, he’ll have an immediate impact for Nova.

Arguably, any Poll that doesn’t have Ponds as the Number 1 Player in the BE , isn’t valid in my opinion . I may be biased . But, only slightly .
is DePaul's non-conference schedule weaker than ours ?

https://depaulbluedemons.com/news/2018/9/5/non-conference-schedule-set-for-mens-basketball.aspx
DePaul's is better.

Both teams play 4 teams ranked 300+ last year. We play 1 or 2 (if we play Temple) top 100 KenPom teams from last year, while DePaul plays 4.

DePaul's is a far smarter schedule. If you look at teams like Penn St (19), Northwestern (85), BC (77), and ND (35) they all improved last year and should be solid but beatable teams.

SJU's is still the worst for any major conference to my knowledge.

Nico Mannion, a class of 2019 PG from Pinnacle HS (AZ), just announced he is down to Arizona & Marquette.

Incredible coup, if Marquette achieves it. To ‘steal’ an AZ native from U of AZ—despite the ‘noise’?!!? Wow.
I dream that one day soon we can sign a 5* from ‘whatever’ State.
My motto is: Win and win crazy.
