Around the Big East 18/19
72 is right of course...there will always be those who demand a quality program and product and those who would accept anything no matter how bad. The second we start demanding a legit product, others start saying to get a life and start to tell us how it's just a game or how we should go root for another program. Why is it so absurd to ask to be Providence College or Seton Hall? Wasn't long ago we were above them clearly. No one's asking to be UNC. When the program can't even jump over the shortest hurdle, don't blame the hurdle.
If someone can explain to me how whining on a message board would add more wins to the season I will whine like nobody's business.

+1. Well said. Endless repetition is never a good thing.

This is a clip of one of our players during summer workouts. A summer intern is running things while the staff is on an extended holiday parts unknown.:p

If all posts have to result in more wins this board would not exist. The repetition thing, yeah get that.

Not BE, but interesting per Rothstein

Illinois and Maryland will play a Big Ten conference game at Madison Square Garden on January 26th, 2018, per release.

I understand why the Big Ten wants to have a presence in NYC, but forcing one program each season to give up a home league game to play at MSG doesn't make sense.

Especially when they can make Rutgers play someone there and at least make it relevant.

And they really expect to draw for a Illinois - Maryland game.

Maryland has a decent following in NYC. They won't draw enough to sell out, but they'll probably break the 10,000 mark.

A lot of 'em just view DePaul as.... well, DePaul.
I gotta a good laugh out that, thanks.

Not BE but Duke is beating University of Toronto badly tonight absent Redish, Jones and Oconnor who suffered an orbital injury Wednesday night against Ryerson University. Barrett and Williamson are everything they were hyped to be and more. Williamson is an absolute freak athlete. At 6 6 and 285 he swatted a ball at the top of the glass Wednesday night. Best power forward I have seen since Chris Webber. Unfortunately for them they have very little help at present. We will see how the other 2 freshmen develop over time.
Last time SJU had a preseason trip was with Max Hooper bombing threes v an Italian team with midgets as I recall. Aren’t we due for one or has this gone the way of SJU Elite Camp?

I thought the rule was teams can take these trips every 4 years, meaning we would be eligible for one. Maybe not in the budget?

2019 four-star F Terrance Shannon, who I believe committed to DePaul last week, has decommitted per Corey Evans LOL. I believe this happened with another 4 star kid with them last year (a commitment followed a few days later by a decommitment). They must have a really crappy welcome package. The one fan base that is rightfully more suicidal than us at this point.

Maybe not in the budget?!?!? LMFAO!
The budget has been raped by the Slice contract payments, Mullin's salary, Richmond's salary and if we all bent over at the same time there won't be an elite summer camp not because of the budget but because multimillionaires don't need to be spending their time in Jamaica New York when they can hang in Malibu.
