Around the Big East '17-18

It will take much longer than that--try never at this rate, with the staff undermanned, out-of-sync and with no direction.
I hate to be this negative--but our HS recruiting is off the rails. And I've supported CM.
Kofi is the most critical recruit in our lens since Lew Alcindor. IMO, he's that critical.
To miss on him, trying like all hell 24/7 would be a blow, to miss on him, half-trying is I'm ashamed to say, a disgrace.
I'm not sick over this, but I'm close.
Could it be that all these prospective recruits are from our area and we can see them and have access to them whenever we want so there is no need to follow them all over the country. They're all right in our backyard. Just trying to be positive.
I'm off the ledge. Maybe. Seton Hall was there, UCONN, 'Cuse, and I'm sure all the major East Coast powers.
It's not as if we're operating with any major strength like record NCAA appearances or major leverage like a consistent winning tradition and/or recent BEC championships.
We're trying--or at least that's been the spin--trying to get back to that level of competition.
Those 'local' NY Metro kids, Kofi, Jalen, Aidan, Kahlil, would power that revival.
'SOmebdy' on 'staff'' should have been there.
But I over reacted and am off the 'ledge'.
Thanks Gene.
Not inclined to ever share a lifeboat with you. :)
Agree. But, Paultz, there's always room for you to share on my ledge. I've moved onto the ledge permanently in the last month or so, with no sign of leaving, and things have sadly gotten relatively comfortable being out here. :)

Great to hear. I'll sleep better tonight.

If they boffered Kofi then I think we should boffer him also but with a better looking bofferer.
Seems like Exhibit A for the case that we need a 2nd recruiter. It's really quite remarkable how much harder our HC has made this for himself, like he thinks he gets bonus points for degree of difficulty like in the Olympics.
WE
DONT
NEED
A
2ND
RECRUITER

We need a staff that recruits. All coaches recruit on staffs. They don't have defined roles

I agree but, thanks to the Slice debacle, since Mitch seems part-time, we are ‘missing’ a senior/experienced ‘coach’.

Mitch may have a BFF agreement with Mullin that he doesn't have to travel around to recruit and is the designated "photo-op" coach. I have to admit that I think Mullin does some recruiting but is also more of a photo op guy and they both may believe that the recruiting grind is beneath them.

Former Pitt commit Bryce Golden has committed to Butler, per his Twitter page. Good late pickup for the Bulldogs in the 2018 class.

Immediately eligible. Painful.

Must be nice to win all the time & have talented kids knocking down your door.

Four-star guard Justin Moore just verbally committed to Villanova, he tells @247Sports | Story: 247sports.com/college/basket…

Providence's Emmitt Holt (abdomen) has been fully cleared and is participating in spring workouts, per a school spokesman. Missed all of last season. #pcbb

A key interior guy for PC. They will have a lot of size and strength up front. Hit the weight room Josh!
