Another coach who timed his announcement to make sure they hired the assistant he wanted to get the job. Worked out OK for Wisconsin when they got "stuck" with Greg Gard. Not so much for U. Va thus far. Feel as though I am forgetting one or two others where this happened.

There is a 30 day window and players can decide to enter during this window or wait until the season is over.
