Around College Basketball

Quinerly and David Jones of Memphis are competing against each other for most Colleges attended in their career .

Quinerly has 3 . Nova , Alabama , Memphis . Jones has DePaul , St Johns and Memphis .

Quinerly is 25 , Jones is 22.

I would hope these young Men are making progress towards getting a College Education .

But , with portal and new transfer rules , this type of free agency is quite common .
Jenkins has actually attended more (Pacific, Iona and St. John’s) if you count the year he was at a JUCO between his two years at Pacific and Iona. Like Jenkins, Jones completed his undergraduate degree this summer which is why he was immediately eligible to play at Memphis.

That’s a lot of Colleges . I think we were more gs Omar with Quinerly and Jones since they both played in the BE before .

Glad these Players are getting their degrees.

Yes, Jones has played for 3 schools but it is only his 4th year in college, he's only 22 and no reason to think he's not getting his degree.

Alleyne has three college too. Va. Tech, UCONN, and St. John's.

Good player on a good team. Fun ending but Tulane fell short.
Tulane was up a point and lost on a ridiculous blatant “throw your leg out to create contact” 3 point foul call pretty much at the buzzer. Watching the replay, the shooter had to throw his leg forward to create the contact, creating a completely unnatural shooting motion. Dusty May, the FAU coach, a class act if there ever was one, after the game said, “We didn’t like that call, I’m sure Tulane didn’t like that call.” That tactic has reached the point of absurdity IMO.

It used to be called as an offensive foul to deter players from doing it. Should go back to that IMO

Hated the call when it was made. On replay thought the contact occurred up top and couldn’t really argue with it. He did however like you said, kick his feet out to sell it more.
