Must include PaceSJU is playing Hofstra, Stonybrook, and Fordham already so we can just call this the Metro 4.
I definitely don't think it will garner that much hype, but just like the NBA in-season tournament, I do think it can at least make these cupcake games more interesting. It's not like we aren't scheduling these teams anyway.Big Five is a long time Philly tradition that Rollie tried to kill while at Nova. It was not one of his smarter moves and garnered much negativity.
You would not draw the same interest here as you can’t even sell out MSG with a double header of local teams. Back when NYC was the place to be and everyone wanted to come play at the old MSG and New York had great programs like St. John’s, CCNY, NYU, LIU and other good programs like Manhattan and Fordham it would have worked and those teams played each other anyway. Now, nah.
This is as silly as me holding on to my hair.OSU and WSU holding on to the PAC 10 brand.
Agree 100% - if Darryl Hill had stayed healthy it would have helped him a lot. Lamont was underrated because he played on terrible teams.Lamont was bigger and more skilled. Zuby more athletic with better feet.
Lamont deserved better here.
Like him or not, Beard is killing it recruiting & playing portal well at Ole Misstwo interesting games today featuring a couple of last year's guys:
Wisconsin vs. Marquette at 12:30 on Fox
Memphis vs. undefeated Ole Miss at 2 on ESPN2
That's a shame.Thoroughly enjoying 'Cuse get crushed -- and embarrassed -- by Virginia. Up by 32 points with 10 minutes to go.
UNC-Wilmington in case you're being honest, lol.I wonder if the Kentucky ballplayers know what UNCW stands for. I don’t.
UNC-Wilmington, a former Lapchick Memorial participant.I wonder if the Kentucky ballplayers know what UNCW stands for. I don’t.
