Around College Basketball

He's probably said that behind the scenes for 50 years and may just be what all coaches call them. I mean people shouldn't say that but people used homophobic terms his entire life and probably as nothing against homosexuals. He's old he should get a pass.

Reminds me to a little extent of the fall of Cosell when he was calling a game and I quote "look at that little monkey go". That basically ended his career and Cosell was the only announcer who called Ali by that name and helped raise his status as the GOAT.

Now is Huggins a homophobe? Who knows only him. The reason I bring up cosell is that people say things they say in regular life and bring it to the public forum.

It’s not just a homophobic slur. It’s also a religious slur. He may have held these views for his entire life, but it doesn’t absolve him out of what he said publicly. As I said in my original post, some people just don’t think before they say what’s in their mind.

He wont get in trouble for going after Catholics. We know that. Using the word he said after that could def get him canned.

When is the portal open until. Wonder if he gets canned soon if alot of wvu players enter the portal.

If I did, squeaky wheels would make noise and the topic would be locked!😉
