Around College Basketball
This self-imposed BS comes off as so ridiculous. What I once thought was conspiracy with many fans saying they protect big time schools, is now fact. Every opportunity they get to put the hammer down on Arizona, USC, LSU, UNC, Auburn, etc. they make them wear a dunce cap for a day and then they go right back to cheating.
Yes, gaming the system -

Ouch! poor LJ.

Arizona State pulled out of Mohegan Sun this weekend after Scott Drew tested positive and Baylor wanted to send their with an asst coaching. Feels very Baylor to not care about rules.

That is some big OOC games lost.
Not surprising. After all, it is the NCAA.

What’s with the NCAA and making the 14 day quarantine a “recommendation” and not a strict rule across the board? Seems like they want to show they are doing something but don’t really care
Sources to ESPN: Auburn five-star freshman Sharife Cooper hasn't practiced in weeks and is exploring potential options overseas while he awaits the findings of an NCAA investigation into his eligibility.

Tennessee has paused all team activities following positive COVID-19 tests, per release. Rick Barnes is among those who tested positive.

Easy to see why NCAA gave kid the extra year

6. Wisconsin

Depth. Experience. No stars. It may sound boring, but it works for Wisconsin. It sure did last year, as the Badgers reeled off eight wins to close the season and finished tied atop the Big Ten with Michigan State and Maryland. After not having a single player on either the Big Ten’s first or second all-league team, most of the anonymous cast is back to showcase its underrated cohesion again.

Not many 4 and 5 stars here yet they are ranked in the Top 10

He is sounding more and more right in this!

Oi read an article and it said the ncaa won't cancel the season unless something drastic happens like a persons death.

I don't mean this in any sort of political way. But why wait until someone dies to cancel the season for everyone? It's clearly possible that someone could die the way things are proceeding. So why wait for that to happen?

No idea, maybe after canceling it Iast year, they really want to play the season this year?

Well obviously but you're missing my point. There is a chance someone could die. They know that going in and there isn't much they can do to prevent it. Yet they are taking the risk anyway and unless someone dies they will keep going. Why not just keep playing if someone dies, since they are already willing to let someone die for the sake of playing.

Kids could opt out if they're afraid of catching this. Kids might need to keep playing to show their skills and show that they're a 1st round pick and get more money.
It's the kids choice I would think, play and raise their stock but maybe catch this damn thing, or play it safe but possibly be a late 2nd round.
Tough choice.
