Around College Basketball 2019/20 Season

Per Evan Daniels

Kentucky’s Ashton Hagan just declared for the NBA Draft. Hagans isn’t testing the waters, he’s expected to stay in the Draft, per sources.

On a scale of 1-10, what is your level of concern as this relates to us?

In these extraordinary times IMHO NCAA should just make everyone eligible. We are in life and death situations let kids play basketball for goodness sakes.

I am aware of several sites this has happened in Jersey.

That's a PR spin! This is NYC.......they were stolen and melted down.

All students now just just work from home and the schools should just move them to the next grade
Last yr med school students should just be graduated

Florida standout Scottie Lewis will return to college for his sophomore season, he tells @Rivals.

Mature comment by Scottie Lewis on Florida underachieving this past season:

“I put the season we had on my shoulders. I came in with a big head. I wasn’t promised anything, but I expected a lot. It didn’t just hurt me, but it hurt our team.

Surprised to see that, although his numbers have been disappointing. This year: 7 ppg, 38% FGs, and just 1.3 apg; and his frosh numbers were similar. Have a feeling Pitino will be contacting him -- if he hasn't already has, that is.

Edit: Mea culpa. Didn't see that this was discussed in another thread.
Dayton's Obi Toppin won the Wooden Award
As he should have. Congrats to Obi and the University of Dayton. I remember how proud I was in 85 when Chris Mullin won it and then even more so in 86 when Walter the Truth Berry won it. It was amazing that the little school from Queens had back to back winners. Those were the day’s.
