Thanks Happy... My bad. I thought the original rumors were becoming closer to reality.

If no changes on staff, then even more questionable what Richmond is bringing to the table and why he's not tagging along w/ Dan Matic or Matt A at the events this weekend, even if just to have name presence.

Richmond should go back to his special assistant role and let Rice take the 2nd assistant spot.

If this team gets going, and Mullin passes off .... my I'd really like to see some continuity in staff pipeline...

I don't see how having Hall of Fame basketball player on the bench benefits the program when there's a sociopath who was 44-51 as HC at Rutgers available.

Having close to a .500 record at Rutgers is a feat in itself. That place is a mess from class to court. If we were willing to go with a failure from Manhattan, stands to reason a semi-failure from New Brunswick can't be that bad.

As I recall back in the day Glen Williams and Cecil Relford were discovered by ex Johnnie players not by astute recruiting.

Back in the day our astute recruiters, Ron Rutledge and Brian Mahoney, rarely ventured beyond the NYC area for recruits. By the time Carnesecca retired they were dinosaurs on the recruiting trail.
