Anthony Livingston

I thought Livingston would have been perfect for us next year so I am sorry it didn't work out. I think we will be okay on the boards with Yakwe, Ahmed and Owens grabbing the bulk. However, Livingston can score close to the basket better than our current big men (at this point in their development). Also, for a big man, Livingston is outstanding from the foul line.

It's a shame.....but upward and onward we go.

Oh well, back to the 14/15 win prediction

And Livingston who would have been a back up at the 4 and 5 would have added how many wins in your opinion ?
You would play Livingston in front of Yakwe who was all Big East rookie team and Sima who would have been all rookie had he not been injured I imagine ?
Not me.

I think he could have been the final piece in getting to the nit, after 8 wins last year, I'd take it.

He would have giving them a wide body, senior leadership on a young team, and he would have giving them dept.

Damn that sucks. Was really looking forward to him playing here. I'm kind of shocked. Not as shocked as Livingston after 2 taser hits but still pretty shocked from what we thought a week agi

how long you been wanting to use that line? ;)

Not long because I had a bunch of electrifying jokes lined up assuming he was coming. We Are SJU and I would have had a field day with this for months but when the recruitment short circuited this one just came to mind :)

there is a spark of genius in there somewhere

Both of you should meet at Fieldstone Bridge where you can continue to weld your ideas together. You might even transform the board in to a writers' forum, assuming Paul did not offer too much resistance to the idea.

If Ali B comes back , at least we'll be guaranteed some fire and energy on the bench.

If he could only pull off a 2nd career game at the Carrier Dome...

To contribute anywhere in meaningful way, he has to improve his rebounding and defense.

I think it would be fair to say he would have to improve how he plays basketball. I think that would cover everything

Can't we convince Jones to come back instead? Or is part of the reason Jones left because of the restraining order he has against Amaseinyourface?

Ali's game definitely needs improvement but I thought he made strides last over his Freshman season. With another offseason under this staff, if can make the same type of improvement over last season he can be a serviceable player for us.

Hopefully he would commit to rebounding and interior defense, not things he was strong at in the past, but what we need.

I actually found this to be a bit of a shocker, but he should give their post game a nice jolt.

In the words of Chester A. Riley, "What a re-volt-ing development this is."
