Wonder how clean Lavin's staff was on those early and big signings..

Everyone cheats on some level.  Its why nobody should ever throw stones because NCAA hoops (and football) is a big glass house.

The NCAA has 30 something investigators for 350 D1 schools multiplied by how many sports that exist.  They go where they are told to go.  There was plenty of smoke when Lavin was here.  The Daily News even wrote an article about Pointer and his 'high school'.

It happens everywhere it boils down to not being dumb and blatant.

What are CMA’s pluses and minuses?  I’m only seeing the negative today.

Nice guy,  I hear

He's probably a great guy...would love him as a next door neighbor, perhaps a fun guy to play cards, golf or bowl with too. Just seen enough of him being coach of my favorite college basketball team

This response if the icing on the cake

How can he be so oblivious almost as if he was a casual spectator and not responsible for finding other paths to getting the ball in the hoop

Mike Anderson, in response to
@RogRubin
’s valid question of why St. John’s took so many shots in front of 7-foot-2 Ike Obiagu, who blocked seven of them today: “It’s a mystery.

Truly baffling

The first 4 blocks, truly a mystery.
After that it was criminal.

The question is, were the players told to continually challenge Obiagu?

Drew Valentine lost to missouri st today.  Yikes.
Does this mean you will slow your roll on him? If we wait a year or two the Duke will be finished playing and we can name him as head coach.

I could see the headlines now the first time we get blown out "Valentine's Day Massacre!"

Besides the masochists, who for reasons unbeknownst to me voluntarily follow whatever team Anderson coaches, is there anyone who actually still thinks Anderson really is the guy?

I think being a fan of this program pretty much qualifies as a suitable diagnosis to warrant a prescription for these meds so sure.

Speaking of which, I haven’t seen any posts from Making Plays  — I think that’s his handle — in a while.
