Alumni Game / Midnight Madness

As part of Midnight Madness this year, there will be an Alumni Game. Former players scheduled to participate are:

Now if we would only announce alumni players who are in the stands during home games - that would be respecting and acknowledging our prior players!
I recall a game a few years back when I had the good fortune to bump into Jeff Allen (of twin tower/ Bill Wennington fame) no one knew he had driven from CT for the game. We missed an opportunity to recognize a past player :(

Interesting how Dave East does with this event. Dave east will probably play his mainstream raps “Paranoia”, “Phone Jumpin”, and “Perfect”; No way SJU will allow him to perform the music he’s really known for. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if Dave didn’t try to take one of the girls home with him ( Think a Cleveland situation all over again).

This will be interesting. Salute to the “hated”.
 
Can't wait to see Coach Panther2 on the sidelines..... hopefully he does not get "Teed Up".

They are still negotiating with Queens Public Television (QPTV). QPTV wants to have Slice do the color (of $$) on the broadcast.

Doesn't really matter as it was real good last year and we signed none of them.

This is the sad truth. I'm glad we have a "balanced" roster but spring 2011 was a lot more fun when recruits were signing every couple of weeks.

Nice list of kids .. especially Nate Tabor who is the next big thing . :)
 
Anyone going tonight? Went with my son last year and was one of the few over 40's in the crowd. Interesting smells in the air and a packed house. Wish our game crowds had 10% of the energy as the Midnight Madness crowd.
