ALCS: Yankees Vs. Astros

This is Judge's best game of the post season.
Not only his 3-run HR, but 2 great catches.
Hopefully this gets him going.

How about the old warrior CC, yeah lots of walks, but only 3 hits in 6 innings.

Up 8-0 I'd go: Warren in the 7th, and Betances in the 8th and 9th.
Those 2 need to work on some stuff.

We are going to need them before it's all set and done.

Well Joe went to them, just wanted Betances to throw 2 innings.
I feel that he's more important to the bullpen, 6-7 and throws 99, 100mph.

Chapman, Robertson, Green (3 days), and Kahnle are all going on 2 days rest.
The first sign of trouble for Gray, and you'll see Green throwing in the pen. I'm just hoping we can get atleat 5 out of Sonny. Everyone else of the starters are kicking ass, you know he wants to continue it.

Kid the gotta pitch his game and trust his stuff. It's the same exact game April or October, only diff is the playoff pressure. If he can get that out of his head then he'll be fine. He just gotta trust his stuff.

I am looking (hopping) for the 2013 postseason Sonny Gray to show up.

ASTROS
1. George Springer, CF
2. Josh Reddick, RF
3. Jose Altuve, 2B
4. Carlos Correa, SS
5. Yuli Gurriel, 1B
6. Alex Bregman, 3B
7. Carlos Beltran, DH
8. Marwin Gonzalez, LF
9. Brian McCann, C
Lance McCullers Jr., P
YANKEES
Brett Gardner, LF
Aaron Judge, RF
Didi Gregorius, SS
Gary Sanchez, DH
Greg Bird, 1B
Starlin Castro, 2B
Aaron Hicks, CF
Todd Frazier, 3B
Austin Romine, C

I like Romine behind the plate, Sanchez looks tired.

Going to the bottom of the 7th I was saying need to atleast get 2, and cut it in half, well they did that, but we had 2 chances at a big hit and castro and hicks make soft outs.

Gotta keep houston off the board and got 2 inning to get 2runs to atleast tie it.

Hoping Todd gets on and sets it up for the top of the order.

Forgot about Romine, well lets just see what happens.

1st & 2nd, 2 outs.
This could be the game.

DIDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW guess I was hasty saying they were done Who would have figured Sorry Yanks should have had more faith

What a huge come back, if they lose, then it's over.
Down 3-1 with those 2 up next, I don't see them beating both, just beat one of the two, and get it to game 7.
Sabathia vs Morten? Advantage CC, even at Hoston.

Protecting home field baby, 4-0

Was on the phone with a friend both watching the game. Down 3-0 I told him we were coming back to win this game. He said no way we aren't hitting and he was turning it off. Called him after Judge's double and he had indeed stopped watching and couldn't believe it. I agreed with him earlier that we weren't hitting so what did I foresee the comeback? Game score and predicament reminded me of the WS vs Atlanta down 2 games to none and down 3-0 when they tied it and Leyritz won it with 3 run dinger 6-3. Just felt history would repeat itself and key was same score when we were down 3-0.

The baby bombers have grown up, Judge (HR, double with 2 RBIs), Sanchez (a big double), and they won't even pitch to Bird (3 walks)

Leyritz' homer tied the game 6-6 and they went on to win it later.

Yeah guess I got some details wrong, memory ain't what it used to be but the key for my feeling is what I remembered not what actually happened LOL. Didn't Girardi have a big triple in one of those games vs braves?

Don't have a good feeling. I don't trust Gray. Hope I'm wrong.

Well, glad I was wrong. He stepped up big time until he lost the plate in the 6th.

Yanks were losing 3-0 when I went to Referee a Football game. What a great comeback.
