only thing that can improve above outcome is if Mets sign nimmo today.
 
Big test for us today. Iowa State is aggressive on the defensive end and, as many have mentioned, taking care of the ball will be key to getting the win. They will undoubtedly force us to turn the ball over, but it needs to be kept in check.

The good news is that ISU is not superior in any other category. They have been a mediocre shooting and rebounding team; although the guard (Grill) can be streaky. He basically won the NC game for them with unconscious three-point shooting. Keep a hand in his face and he won't have many games like that.

I am really looking forward to seeing how our guys respond today. 🤞
 
I watched a couple of their games. We have some hope as they are not a great three point shooting team. I fear teams that can knock down shots as SJU tends to leave 3 pt shooters wide open when pressuring on defense. It goes without saying but we need to limit our turnovers (who’d a thunk it right!) AND hit some shots ourselves. No long droughts. At home you can recover. Old “mo“ is real and on the road that can be deadly. Keep in mind this is our “real” 1st road trip.

“Traveling” to Brooklyn is a lot different than flying to Ames Iowa. Sure it takes just as long to get from Queens over to Brooklyn as it does to get to Iowa but at least they get in flight service.
 
Boy did I ever screw up! My neighbor asked me to go to a concert this afternoon and I agreed! DOOOOHHHH!!! I wasn't thinking. Now I have to record it and watch it when I get home. I know that I'll cheat and look at the score during the concert. I've already missed a few games already due to social gatherings. 😕

Greg, Greg, Greg. What were you thinking? Today is a GREAT sports day. Not good….GREAT. Social engagements are no bueno today. 🤣 Just kidding.

Enjoy the concert but ignore the iPhone.

Line was set too low. This really should have been set at 6. Ppl jumping all over it as they should with it lower than it should have been. It’s great for those who like the johnnies……and they win lol

Truth be told I bet against SJU every year in games we shouldn't win but I need a favorable line to do so. I win between 2 to 3k per year and have been doing it the for the last decade. Btw I'm down $660 ytd we keep winning.... I do it to mask the pain of being a diehard fan.....

I also do it with my giants this year since we have a chance at the playoffs, I took Washington today on the money line......;)
