Like we should be down 25. Let’s go steal this in the second half!!

We have been unfocused in every first half and that is on the staff. These guys don't come ready to play and so much for the Curbelo/Alexander dynamic duo.....they cannot play together and be an effective offensive team.
Weak competition is coming home to roost. Our guys facing their first real test of the season and I hope they learn from the countless mistakes they are making.

Can’t wait to read all the posts once we comeback and win this. That will be very entertaining re reading this thread.

No real defending CMA half court offense, it was gross all half, but in that instance we had no timeout to use and they went into a 1-3-1 for the first time. With only 8 seconds left it was a smart move by isu.

I don't even know why you entertained him. If CMA sneezes the wrong way he points it out. Like you said slow adjustments to half court offense you can talk about, 8 seconds to go on the other end of the court team switches defense, there's very little you can do as a coach but trust your players to make the adjustment and try to get a decent look.

Stanley has played well all year. Huge in our second half wins vs temple and cuse. This has to be for something other than his on court play. Looks like we got ‘out toughed’ for a lot of that half. Wusu and Stanley two of our toughest guys.

Stanley is essentially an undersized 5, that can't shoot, and isn't really quick on his feet. He gets by on his toughness and hustle, but against legit size I think Nyiwe gives you a better chance, he's the best defender at the 5 spot IMO.

Currently out the rotation apparently. Before Nyiwe was out due to his brother's death and Pinzon got hurt, both were ahead of them in the rotation. Doesn't surprise me Stanley hasn't played, but Wusu not playing is.
Nywie is playing because Soriano has been soft. He also is a decent shooter who extends the defense. Wusu would have had 5 turnovers against the Iowa state defense. Stanley and Storr will get some 2nd half minutes but Soriano and Jones need to get their act together because they are not playing New Hampshire today.
