lol I get it, everyone can compete on the defensive end to some extent with effor. But my point was not everybody can play pitino defense. Like the guys his first year.

Vince is obviously gone. Combining Pitino’s statement with Prey’s sudden disappearing minutes, I’d say he’s gone😕 Glover is a complete unknown. Dunlap 50/50.

It makes no sense to bring in Lefty or Maker for just one year, so I think they are back. Ayo definitely back. Sim probably back.

Keep in mind the Portal does not open until Monday 3/24 unless you are a player for a school where the coach has left/fired or you are set to be a grad transfer. For grads the portal is always open and for players with programs where the coach is gone you have 30 days immediately to enter Portal once the coach leaves/dismissed. That is why Indiana players and Iona players etc are already entering the Portal prior to 3/24.

In this case I think Bryce Hopkins is a grad transfer (been in school for 4 years) so I think he is already in the Portal.

I also took it as RJ is #7.

Dunlap becomes incredibly valuable now with the redshirt. 2 years under Pitino with 3 left.

You have no Lefty. Why?

What I don't get is that if we aren't keeping Vince (I also believe this), then why not play Prey? He's not stealing minutes from a guy who will be here (unless Ayo is getting all those minutes).

I assume we're trying to win, and Prey gives us a better chance than Vince.

If Prey gets none against a team like Omaha, then he's 100 percent gone.*



*And get Alexandros Samodurov in for a visit.

I like him, but if we are limiting the count to 6-7, it’s between him and Glover. I think the European guys are always more likely to return home.
