Next week's schedules for teams ahead (or can be) of us:Nah, zero chance we're top 5.
#1-3 all went 2-0.
#4 went 1-1 against ranked teams. It's possible we'll pass them, but unlikely.
#5 went 2-0 including vs. #8.
#6 went 2-0 including @ #7.
#10 went 2-0 vs. unranked teams (though the UConn win was really special obviously).
#1-6 did extremely well overall (against better competition than we faced), so best case scenario would be #6 if we pass #4 Alabama (which I wouldn't expect). We'll be #7 or #8 (if Michigan St passes us).
Next week though I could see top 5 maybe happening, we have a golden opportunity to go 2-0.
Zach thinks tomorrow being Monday is clearly not out of the question#2 and #1 clearly in play
Zach about 3 weeks behind
Just win is all that matters. The rest will take care of itself.Still think when the dust settles we’ll be a 3 seed but a 2 would be great.
We can only be a 2 if we win out. No margin for error on that front.Still think when the dust settles we’ll be a 3 seed but a 2 would be great.
And the 3/6 (or 11) match-up instead of a 4/5.Hate diving into the seed talk with still so much more that can happen in either direction but the difference between a 4 and 3 seed is absolutely massive. That’s the difference of a potential Sweet 16 game vs the Dukes/Floridas of the world or a Sweet 16 game vs a Wisconsin or Texas A&M
Seems like an answer to the Daily Jumble. We know where SJU will be ranked because seven, ate, nine.
And we willWe can only be a 2 if we win out. No margin for error on that front.
That’s how I see it too. One more loss (with it being either at Marquette or in the BET Championship game, maybe semis) and we should be good for a 3 seedMy educated guess is in order to secure a 3 seed, we can only afford to lose to Marquette but then must at least make the finals of the Big East tourney.
