One on the court, one in MR’s head. Hope we win both.We only play one game this week.

We're gonna send 'em back to Cincinnati starvin' like Marvin.Nice, now back to the task at hand. X is coming to the Garden hungry.
Its hard to get a Quad 1 game at home. You have to be in the NET top 30. New Mexico is 59. They have some really good wins but a couple of bad losses too. ( 1-1 Q1; 6-2 Q2; 2-2 Q3)Hard to believe that they are only Quad 2. Why it was just last year that the vaunted Selection Committee was in love with the great Mountain West Conference. I mean New Mexico is top of the Standings!
I kid because I think our focus should be on winning games. Win and it takes care of itself. Hard to not get a bid if we win as many games as possible. Trust no one.
I surmise you meant "moving up the poll." Nevertheless, I feel we're gonna remain throughout the duration of the season.Nice to be ranked again, this time we're staying and moving down that poll.
Good call.We came in 20! As I said, perception of who we are, who are coach is, and what conference we play in matters just as much if not more than some of the metrics people tend to only focus on.
Xavier is still a big game. Really want that sweep.
With this week, we've now been ranked three times this year.
The 2014-2015 team was ranked for five weeks between December 8 through January 5th.
The 2010-2011 team was ranked for the final three weeks of the season.
The 2000-2001 team was ranked for the first four weeks of the season.
The 1999-2000 team was ranked for five weeks in the season, in the beginning and to conclude the season.
The 1998-1999 team was ranked for all but the first week of the season.
Four of the five teams made the tournament. Question for the season will be -- who will this team most closely resemble? The Elite 8 one, the sub-500 one (even this board's most pessimistic would say no to that) or the one-and-dones?
And in the top 20 four of the five times. It's crazy that the 1999-2000 team...Big East Champs, won @ Duke, swept UConn in 3 games, 25-8 overall record, 12-4 conference record and a number 2 seed in the tournament was only ranked for 5 weeks.
Nostradamus UConn whiplashWe only play one game this week.
Losing the season opener to Samford in Albuquerque did not help mattersIt's crazy that the 1999-2000 team...Big East Champs, won @ Duke, swept UConn in 3 games, 25-8 overall record, 12-4 conference record and a number 2 seed in the tournament was only ranked for 5 weeks.
True, but then we bounced back and won a road game against New Mexico...which certainly would have been at least a Q2 win if they had this system back then.Losing the season opener to Samford in Albuquerque did not help matters
The team is already slacking. We only play one game this week.
And sadly not playing this weekend will cost us spots in the NET. Another reason not to get too hung up on the NET on a daily basis. The team is already slacking.
But a little more time for Smith to fully heal. And sadly not playing this weekend will cost us spots in the NET. Another reason not to get too hung up on the NET on a daily basis.

Welcome to St. John’s fan site where down is up and up is downI surmise you meant "moving up the poll." Nevertheless, I feel we're gonna remain throughout the duration of the season.
Seth Davis did not even vote us in the top 25. What a clown.
