lol... he was pretty clear... If you dont think this team is "good enough" to be top 3 in the BE... then your expectations should be lower... thus not being upset when they don't* perform.

For those of us that do have Expectations of this squad- top 3 finish in the League- we will actually be upset if they dont meet those expectations...

Johnnies improve 5 spots in NET - from #44 to #39. NET really doesn't like Kansas State, they're only #103 for now, so hopefully they'll improve as the season goes on. I personally think they will.

Still a good win regardless since we ran up the margin, that'll be critical these next few weeks against teams like Bryant, DePaul (home), and Delaware. Also some potential Q1 opportunities @ Providence and @ Creighton, need to get one of those and we'll finish 2024 out nicely.

Winning on the road is never easy especially at Creighton. Need to step up our game.

That may be the case, but still a shot we could be ranked heading into the Creighton game if we run up the margins and improve our NET. Tough where our only two losses were by a combined 4 points, we blew our chances vs. Baylor/Georgia to remain ranked through December, so for now we need NET to help offset our lack of strong wins. Our KenPom jump should help us get more points in the AP Top 25 tomorrow.

Regardless of rankings though, if we finish off the year 4-1 then I'll take it.

Don't sleep on DePaul. They aren't great, but they aren't complete trash either. I expect them to finish ahead of Georgetown and Nova TBH. And possibly the Hall as well. Those should be the bottom 4 teams in the conference anyway, but the order is TBD.
