2024/2025 Roster

He won't stick in the NBA. I think he will have a good international career.

To be fair, I always said he'd be a better pro because he won't have the ability to cripple an offense by hogging the ball. I just would NEVER want him on a high major college team again. He is the opposite of Kadary Richmond when it comes to his teammates. I think he would ruin this year's team too if you swapped him with Kadary.

Vaccine from The Athletic already mentioned him as a prospect. It's definitely a thing. Trevor Ariza is an interesting comp

He's big, he can play vertical, he defends multiple spots, he is very sturdy for a kid his weight, and he can shoot. Outside of needing guys to pass him the ball for his jumpers, his game is almost completely independent of his teammates. He doesn't the ball in his hands at all to be effective. You have to love players like that.

Definitely. And if he plays with a high motor, high IQ and can take on the toughest defensive assignment, it's a worthy flier for a team in the second round. He fits the profile of guys in the NBA that last 10+ years.

Obviously too early to tell if any of this will/can/should happen, but I do think being with Kadary, Pitino and Pitino's system will be very helpful for him.

I’m busting balls but I’m pretty sure you laughed or said no chance in hell when someone suggested he make an nba team.

That was for him getting drafted. I said he couldn't get drafted if he lived in North Korea :)
With the expanded rosters, tanking, and G league dozens of guys who wouldn't have sniffed the NBA could have a cup of coffee in the NBA these days. The 76ers were playing Sampson at PG to tank during their "trust the process" years. Olivari is on the Lakers right now, which is insane.
