2024/2025 Roster

Deivon Smith, St. John’s: If Smith played for a blue blood program like Kansas or North Carolina, he’d be mentioned as a Preseason All-American. Instead, he’s just waiting to feast on the rest of the Big East. A transfer from Utah, the 6-foot point guard averaged 18.8 points, 9.5 assists, and 8.5 rebounds in four games last spring in the Postseason NIT. Remember the name.

Thanks for posting RSNC. I have been convinced for a long time that Scott was as big a signing as anyone. This kid is going to remind us of DJ and a Justin who can shoot.

“I haven’t been to the tournament yet. That’s our main goal, just touch the tournament. If we touch the tournament, who knows what can happen in the tournament. I think it’s going to be a good year.”

Smart!

Which leaves me hanging with Ruben Prey. I think he and Wilcher are first 2 off the bench. Just hoping Iwuchukwu can split time with Zuby. That 8 wins the conference.

I can see 10, 4, and 4
Gonna be so interesting to see how the assists shake out. Doubtful IMO that Kadary and Smith combine for the 12 they added up to last year. And another 4 on top of that would be a big number. Not that Wilcher isn’t capable, just only so many assists to have.

I think if he got us 8-10 pts and 2-3 assists that would be a big time season out of him next two the other two.
