Boone grasping at straws with this lineup. He must get paid extra for every new one.

8 at bats and 8 strikeouts, maybe Carpenter should not be in the lineup. He is no longer hot.
Bader got the error but it was Judge's fault. Clearly Bader was calling for the ball.

I haven't seen a mustache that bad since Reno 911

You want him to stick with lineups that aren't working? You can get away with that somewhat in the regular season, but not in the playoffs.

Don't know if they would have won this series with a healthy DJ and Benintendi, but it would have been a lot closer, since both are good bat on ball hitters, and Benintendi brings the added element of speed, and a lefty bat, two things that are in short supply around here.

Agree with you that who knows if Yanks win the series, but the lineup would have been much better with DJ and Bene in there so many dead bats
This team is so far removed from the championship team, no winners on this group

Good managers know who their leadoff hitter is 170 games into a season; good managers know who their shortstops are 170 games into the season; good managers know who their DH is 170 games into the season...... He is a horrible manager. Trivino a better solution than Cole? Not. Boone is a friggin horrible manager.

Who had the best chance of getting a strikeout in bases loaded no outs situation on Yankees staff? Cole! No brainer! Then Boone removes Cole? Dumb! Contra intuitive! Poor strategy! What was potential gain from bringing in new pitcher when you had premiere strikeout pitcher in game who has less than 100 pitches? Boone seems to make changes just for the sake of change all the time!! Should not be brought back next year!
Where was Holmes yesterday?

Hey look, Boone has not done a good job in this series, but the leadoff spot was filled by DJ, and then Benintendi after he was acquired, for most of the year. Unfortunately, both got hurt. On a 26 man roster, you can only have so much depth.

Those two have been missed in this series.

Embarrassment…… Boone set the tone early on by having Carpenter bat at key times in the early games. Not that the Yankees would have won this series but at least they could have been more competitive.

Boone had his chance but has not lived up to Yankee standards….. time to move on.

post mortem.
sign $99. that is the top 3 priorities.
from early in the game, stache I had poor control.
ditch stache II. enjoy the hallmarks channels - stache II, a tale of 2 seasons. pre/post playoffs.
are you joshing me. late game defense. if gets on base, pinch run for him use as designated ump baiter.
get new strength/conditioning coach. new hitting coach.
get torres mental help. dont use krakens shrink.

Per CBS' Zach Pereles:
The Yankees are now the only team to lose five straight league championship series. and the last three have been against the Astros.

Don't know what I think about resigning Judge. Not for 8 years anyway.

Sign Judge, its not my money.
Dump Cashman and Boone and staff.
Get some singles hitters and balance the lineup. Too many strikeouts.
Get players that know how to play, run the bases, field the balls, etc.
